EngageTrack App

The EngageTrack App/Plug-in is a digital tool designed to support student success by helping students stay organized and on top of their coursework. It also gives instructors better insights into how actively students are participating throughout the semester. The app works with popular Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle. EngageTrack tackles common challenges students face—such as burnout, stress, and anxiety—by making it easier to manage the workload, complexity, and competing deadlines that come with taking a full schedule of 12 credits each semester. This issue is especially severe in high-enrollment and general education courses, which often have high failure rates. A key contributing factor is the lack of early intervention for students who frequently struggle to meet deadlines, plan their semester or study effectively. At the same time, instructors face challenges in providing personalized feedback and support to large numbers of students, making it difficult to address these problems at scale.
EngageTrack supports students by offering a centralized, intelligent dashboard that consolidates all course information from the LMS. This helps students better understand and plan their workload. The app includes tools to visualize assignments and exams across the semester using intuitive heat maps, receive personalized study recommendations for upcoming assignments, and stay motivated through gamification and accountability nudges. For faculty, EngageTrack automates the deployment of reflective formative assessments and generates AI-powered reports on student engagement and learning trends. This dual functionality supports timely instructional adjustments and enables targeted outreach—critical components of student success in high-enrollment courses.
